Sport Import introduces two new employees for Germany and Austria. Both work as sales representatives and are contact persons for dealers in their area with immediate effect.
Jessica Stolzenburg takes over the area of Northern Germany. She follows Tim Schulz, who has moved to category management at Sport Import. Jessica previously worked in field sales for five years in another industry. As a trained electronics technician, she took the opportunity to make a switch to the cycling industry in 2022 in order to turn her hobby into a career: The passionate mountain biker spends her free time on the E-MTB in bike parks and on local trails. In addition, she brings the necessary technical expertise thanks to her craft background. “With Jessica, we have been able to recruit a bike-loving colleague with a hands-on mentality. Her passion for mountain biking and the bike industry means that our sportive brands are in exactly the right place with her,” reports Björn Heyer, Field Sales Manager at Sport Import.
Johannes Huber will take over the sales field service in Austria with immediate effect. Professionally, Johannes has remained committed to the industry since his apprenticeship in a bicycle store. After several positions, including store manager, he was self-employed for almost two decades with his own bike store. Already at this point, his paths crossed with Sport Import, at that time still as a supplier. After giving up his own business, Johannes had been working in the field for five years and is now moving to Sport Import. Björn Heyer: “Hannes is a veteran of the bicycle industry and thus brings with him a comprehensive package of knowledge and experience. Above all, his decades of expertise provide a sharp eye for the needs of the dealers.”
