Ambit Components already proved what is in its DNA when it was founded in 2023 with its first flat pedal: Innovation and functionality have been at the heart of all product developments ever since, pushed forward in close collaboration with Ambit athletes. Now Ambit Components announces the launch of the new “Breach” flat pedal. It combines German engineering with the manufacturing precision of hand-picked partners in Taiwan.
“Our goal was to make the innovative features of our signature pedal accessible to an even wider range of riders. To achieve this, we worked hard to combine our German engineering with the precision of our partners in Taiwan. The result is a pedal that takes our well-known technologies to a new price point,” reports Ambit founder Michael Müllmann. The pedal features the rotation brake, which enables individual adjustment of the rotational movement and thus offers precise control during jumps. The “Breach” also scores points with its innovative service screw, which makes maintenance much easier. Both technologies are patent pending. The pedal also comes with a robust felt seal that protects the pedal from dirt and moisture, thus extending its service life. The individually positionable pins ensure optimum grip – perfectly matched to the riding style of each individual rider.
“The ‘Breach’ therefore reflects everything that Ambit stands for: precision, quality and a clear focus on the rider’s needs. With this pedal, we are making a new statement in terms of performance and style,” says chief developer Swen Lauer.
The “Breach” flat pedal is available in five colors – black, silver, blue, brown and orange – and in three sizes (S, M, L). Ambit products are available from the distributor Sport Import.
